LAGOS, Nigeria — African crypto infrastructure company Breet is doubling down on its push to accelerate fintech innovation on the continent with the launch of a $10,000 equity-free builder grant for startups ahead of the Africa Technology Expo (ATE) 2026 in Lagos.
The initiative targets early- to growth-stage builders working in fintech, crypto, stablecoins, payments, and financial infrastructure, offering both funding and direct access to Breet’s API for real-world product integration.
According to details released by the company, the programme is designed not as a traditional pitch competition, but as a builder-focused deployment challenge—requiring participants to integrate Breet’s infrastructure into live or near-live products before presenting solutions on stage at ATE 2026.
