At a young age, an African became millionaire in Canada

Huge! A young African living in Canada wins the lottery jackpot twice in five months.

Canada seems to be bringing good joy and luck to Melhig Melhig, a young West African national living in Winnipeg.

In less than a semester, he twice won the jackpot at a scratch-off game, each time for a value of more than $1 million.

Last April, Melhig Melhig bought a scratch ticket and won $1.5 million. A great opportunity since 900,000 tickets had been issued!

In August, luck smiles at him again at the same scratch-off game. This time he pockets $2 million after picking the winning ticket from $1.3 million.

For a new millionaire, tickets don’t make Melhig Melhig’s head spin. With his first jackpot, he had bought a house for his wife and children.

With the last two million he has just received, he plans to build a future for himself, he has also decided to “go to school”!

“I want to improve my English (and) learn something useful, like carpentry,” the young man told the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC).

This is probably a good way to spend millions after having been lucky twice.
